COVID
Do I need to be vaccinated to attend the event?
We are committed to keeping all of our favorite people as safe and healthy as possible. As such, we are requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated at the time of the event.
If you are not able complete a vaccine course by 6/18/22 (2 weeks before the wedding weekend), we kindly ask that you stay home and celebrate with us via livestream.
Will COVID safety regulations will be followed?
We are observing all state, local, and federal COVID regulations, and you may be required to show proof of full vaccination at any point over the weekend (take a picture of your vaccine card if you have not already — this is enough!).
If you have any questions or need assistance getting the vaccine, please reach out to us — we are happy to help!

Indian Attire
What should I wear to wedding events? Should I wear Indian clothing?
We would be delighted if you choose to wear Indian clothing to our wedding events (but you are also in no way required to do so)! Please see the events page for recommended attire/vibe for each event.
We predict that many may choose to wear Indian clothing to the sangeet and baraat/ceremony, whereas the reception may tend towards more Western or Indo-western cocktail/formal attire (suits & dresses).
If you would like to purchase some Indian clothing, please see below for website suggestions and a brief overview of some men’s and women’s clothing options
What is traditional women’s attire?
Salwar Kameez – Tunic style long top worn with pants and often a dupatta (stole/shawl). The variations on this style are endless!
Anarkali Suit – A type of salwar kameez that comprises a long gown-like top that is fitted at the bust and waist with a flared skirt, usually worn over close-fitting pants. Fun to twirl in!
Sari – India’s national dress, a sari is 6 yards of fabric that is worn draped over a petticoat and blouse (not always included, so check when you are buying!). You can also find plenty of pre-stitched or pre-draped styles that go on like a dress
Lehenga – Long skirt worn with a top that is usually cropped and dupatta (stole/shawl). Great twirl factor!
What is traditional men’s attire?
Kurta Pajama – A long tunic style top in a lighter fabric (cotton, linen, silk, etc.) worn over pants. Sometimes accessorized with a vest worn over the top
Sherwani – A more formal option, includes a long, usually embellished coat worn over a kurta and pants
Bandhgala/Jodhpuri – Formal suit including a coat with a Nehru collar worn over a shirt and trousers
Where can I buy Indian clothes online?
House of Indya – affordable women’s attire, including mix and match separates and pre-stitched sarees
Kalki Fashion – big range of prices, starting quite affordably. Includes custom stitching options. Ranjani can vouch for having had good experiences and timely delivery on orders
Amazon – wide range of affordable pieces for men and women
Etsy – Lots of good shops on here that can provide affordable attire for men and women, including designer-inspired copies. Would recommend reading reviews before purchasing as quality can vary significantly between shops. Also a great place to buy Indian jewelry!
AZA Fashions – has higher end designer stuff as well as some less expensive pieces, for both men and women
Pernia’s Pop-up shop – Mostly high end designer fashion, but sometimes has good deals and sales. Good if you’re looking to splurge a little!
Are there local shops around me?
Most metro areas have some shops that sell Indian attire, let us know if you need help looking!

The structure of this website and font pairings were designed by our good friends Anna & Sam of Erawan Studio.
