Indoor/outdoor wedding weekend kickoff with henna, games, and dancing. Dinner will be served.

Busses:

Bus service will be provided to and from the hotel. If you are driving, please park across the street. Busses leave Cambria at 4:30pm and will leave Riverworks at 8, 9 and 10pm (last bus at 10pm).

Attire:

Fun Fact:

This converted mill building (parts of which date to the 18th century!) is believed to have manufactured the sails of the USS Constitution, the oldest ship in the world still afloat. It’s also home to the office space for Peter’s company, Digital Impulse

Baraat

Traditionally the groom’s procession to the ceremony venue with music and dancing — we are putting a spin on it and having a joint parade from Cambria to Artists for Humanity! Wear what you will wear to the ceremony.

Light Breakfast:

On Sunday morning there we be a light, “grab and go” breakfast laid out in the Hospitality Room at Hotel Cambria on the second floor from 7:30-9:00 before the Baraat and Wedding Ceremony.

Baarat:
Please gather at the front of the hotel and the procession will begin PROMPTLY at 9:00 so put on your finery and be ready to celebrate! (Definitely worth waking up early for!). The parade route will proceed east on 2nd street for 2 blocks. If you are driving to the baraat or ceremony, we recommend street parking (free on Sundays), or at the Channel Center Garage.

Ceremony

Traditional Tamil Hindu Ceremony (Muhurtham). The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and last approximately 90 minutes, followed by a pinic lunch and free time before the Reception (check out the Activities page for ideas on things to do).

Attire:

Semiformal, Indian attire encouraged (see FAQ page for Indian clothing information)

Getting There:

If you are staying at the hotel, just come downstairs for the Baraat! If driving, we recommend parking at the Channel Center Garage (116 W First St, Boston, MA 02127) or on the street. The MBTA Broadway Red Line stop is also just around the corner.

Please note that Cambria is just 0.2 miles from the venue. The parade route will start in front of the hotel and proceed down 2nd Street.

Running Late?

If you arrive to the ceremony after 10am, we kindly ask you use the enterence on West A St., by A Street Park.

Lunch:

After the ceremony, a picnic boxed lunch will be served at A Street Park, just outside Artists for Humanity.

Join us for cocktail hour in the gallery, followed by dinner, dancing, and general revelry

Attire:

Bold, expressive, celebratory. (Wear what makes you feel beautiful! We imagine that guests will wear everything from cocktail dresses, suits, and gowns to festive Indian attire. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!)

Getting There:

If you are staying at the hotel, just walk over! If you are not, please use public transit, Uber, Lyft, or a taxi.
